Pillar-Foundation connection EPF

Introduction

The EDILMATIC EPF system is a solution for installing prefabricated pillars.

The system involves the installation of ‘ESC shoes’ in the pillars and ‘ETF base bolts’ in the foundation.

When the pillar is assembled on site, the shoes are bolted to the base bolts and, after adjusting the verticality of the pillar, high-performance mortar is used to complete the casting.

The EDILMATIC EPF system allows the pillar to be plumbed without the need for shoring, also allowing for extensive horizontal and vertical adjustments.

The structural nodes created with the EDILMATIC EPF connection comply with the criterion of continuity in the resistance of the reinforcement between the pillar and the foundation.
