This system combines the concept of ‘Dynamic Resistance’ for the connection between elements. The design principle is to create two sliding carriages that allow the joint freedom of movement but at the same time offer high design resistance.
The new system is proposed for the retention of horizontal infill panels, but it can also be adapted to other types of structures. It involves the use of standard hollow profiles, two ‘GS Sliding Joints’ and an ‘EDIL S’ connecting plate with bolts and fixing accessories. Two types of joints are available to combine with 4 different types of profiles with design resistances ‘Rd’ between 11 kN and 32 kN.
