Brackets - Component description

Angular elements

In addition to the standard brackets, special brackets are available on request, made to specification based on the drawing provided by the Customer.

No testing is provided, unless specifically requested; consequently, the Customer is responsible for determining maximum applicable load capacities. In cases where brackets are used combined with Edilmatic Anchor Channels, it is implicit that the applicable load will depend on the load capacity of the anchor channel used.

They may be supplied with electrolytic galvanization (UNI EN ISO 2081), or without surface coating, or with hot-dip galvanization (UNI EN ISO 1461).

Some examples of common angular elements made to drawing spec are provided, together with a range of application cases.

Knurled plates

Knurled Plates are used for the production of Standard Brackets and may also be used in the original form for special applications, such as the junctions of contiguous members.

They are available as 3 different types and 3 different lengths:
  • Knurled Plate Length L = 294 mm;
  • Knurled Plate Length L = 388 mm;
  • Knurled Plate Length L = 194 mm.
On request, from the Knurled Plate L = 388, it is possible to obtain customized plates with different lengths and slots and/or holes in any position required for the application.

The plates may be supplied with electrolytical galvanization or without surface coating.

Corner element FRG

The Corner element for eaves FRG is designed specifically to restraint the eaves breams, whose peculiar shape does not allows the use of other types of inserts. The original shape of the FRG corner element allows the connection between the upper part of the beam and a panel or another element to be restrained.
The width of the beam's upper part can be from 5 cm up to 10 cm.

The Corner element can be coulped with an anchor channel through an anchor head bolt of proper lenght.

The FRG can be supplied with electrolytic galvanization (UNI EN ISO 2081), or without coating, or with hot-dip galvanization (UNI EN 1461).
On request, it can be made also in stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316.
