MT brackets - Component description

Clamped Plate

Insert to be positioned in the load bearing structural member, without additional reinforcement in the positioning area, formed by a galvanized plate of suitable dimensions (according to the type of bracket), to which two round bars with improved bonding, with variable thread and diameter depending on the load capacity, are applied.

On both sides there are "check lines" positioned exactly on the median parts of the plate to facilitate correct positioning when preparing the casting of the members.

In the front part, during the finishing phase, PVC plugs are inserted into the holes and an adhesive label, identifying the type of plate, is applied to prevent the entry of "slurry".

Load distributor

Insert to be positioned in the carried structural member, consisting of a central body with a shaped closing plate on the rear; it is supplied complete with polystyrene, applied at the finishing phase, to create the support compartment for the Bracket.

The Load Distributor is equipped with upper longitudinal reinforcement ribs, to allow optimal distribution of the loads when resting the bracket on the bolt and with lower lateral reinforcements to prevent the adjustment Bolt from coming out in the event of lateral displacements. The support area is knurled to prevent the member from sliding after assembly.

Load Distributors may be supplied with different sizes, according to the application.

MT Bracket

Union element between the two previous components which acts as a support for the carried member.

Integral parts of the Bracket are the Nut and the Adjustment Bolt which, in addition to the load-bearing function, are essential for making the vertical adjustments of the member: the Bolt is knurled on the head (diamond knurling) to prevent sliding in the support with the Load Balancer.

In the central part of the bracket, there is an identification marking showing the maximum applicable load capacity:
e.g. EDILMATIC MT6 = Max. 6 tons (60 kN)

A full range of special types of Brackets is also available for the recovery of any positioning errors of the Anchored Plates (Lowered and Raised Brackets) and for special applications in structural members with reduced weight and dimensions or for supporting panels on beams and/or floors (MT2 brackets - MOT6 brackets).
